Mel Bochner and Bob and Roberta Smith have started my journey looking at artists who use text in their work. I have started in a doodle style, scribbling ideas and thoughts, scraps of text, photographs and an Adrian Henri poem form the first few pages. I’m hoping the sketchbook evolved and pages get added to create new and interesting textures to work on.
